It's not as if we have any sort proof that the NPC exists. Though seeing the cherry blossom trees do show that they think that this is a really important deal.

Exactly. If it wasn't important, they wouldn't go to all this. I'm not sure turning them over is the right decision even if they are here though.

I don't know, either. Some people get greedy when it comes to things like that. You have to think about the situation rationally first before doing something rash or else you might regret it.

Exactly, I mean if the NPC has evolved to fit in with us, who's to say how different it is from the rest of us at this point?

Well, the definition of a human being is someone who has good or bad qualities in them, though I think that definition is a bit outdated. The person has to have emotions and a soul as well to be considered as a person and not as some sort of object or artificial intelligence.

That's true, but if it's self developing, would it be possible for such a thing to develop emotions? And a soul isn't the easiest thing to pin a solid definition on.

I wouldn't say it's impossible. They've shown that sort of thing in movies a lot that it's become a trope.

Well, I suppose the first thing to do is to find out who this NPC is and then go from there.
